Training Center
The DOUA Training Center was opened in August 2004 with the vision of creating a place where students, mentors, and volunteers could easily communicate and share ideas, advice, resources, and friendship. Here's where you'll find our online tutorials, technical support, product resources, and contests.
Please come on over and visit us at the DOUA Training Center!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Contact us to become a Community Mentor!
Help us help others. It is a great feeling!

The Disabled Online Users Association is run entirely by Volunteers. These Community Mentors give freely of their time and talents to help others achieve success. The mentoring team consists of a broad range of talented and experienced people made up of moms, dads, online sellers, corporate executives, web designers, writers and more. Some are disabled, but most are not.

As the driving force behind DOUA, their presence at the online Training Center is invaluable. It is the hub of our program and where our Students come for information, assistance and community events.

The DOUA Training Center is monitored nearly 24 hours a day by the Community Mentors as well as the entire membership. Questions are posed by our Students as they progress through the tutorials and training and everyone just jumps right in and posts their opinions and advice. Community Mentors are welcome to bring in new topics or expand on existing topics as well.

DOUA is not a bunch of words on a computer screen - it is a community made up of people that care.

If you feel that becoming a Community Mentor is something you would like to do, simply register at the Training Center and fill out our volunteer interview form for us. Please include your Training Center Username.

Featured Volunteer
Connie has been a DOUA Community Mentor since 2005.  She and her husband work as a team and have been selling on eBay for almost 4 years.  Their claim to fame is their customer service.  Connie's role in the DOUA Community has made her goal of being an advocate for "invisible illnesses" such as Myasthenia Gravis, Sjogren's Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Rhuematoid Arthritis and other autoimmune diseases, become reality. She also writes a blog called Brain Foggles for this purpose. We are proud to have her as a DOUA Mentor.

A huge THANK YOU to ALL of our mentors and volunteers... past, present, and future!
